Career & Technical Education (CTE) Committee - Governor's Workforce Development Board (GWDB)
As part of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future, we aim for 45% of public high school graduates to complete a high school level of a Registered Apprenticeship or another industry-recognized credential, beginning by the 2030-31 school year. To help Maryland meet this ambitious goal, the GWDB’s CTE Committee has drafted guidance on what apprenticeship programs will count, and now we need to hear from you! A 30-day public comment period is open March 15-April 14, 2024.
Review the draft guidance and give us feedback by April 14, 2024.
